What it covers
Five kinds of page, and three kinds of check.
We check your home page, a collection page, product pages, the cart, and checkout up to payment. The product data check reads every product we can reach and says how many we could not.
Accessibility, by a person
Against WCAG 2.2 AA: a keyboard first, then a screen reader (VoiceOver on Mac and iPhone, NVDA on Windows). Names and labels, focus order, contrast, text alternatives, error messages, zoom and reflow, and the six criteria WCAG 2.2 added at levels A and AA, such as target size and focus hidden behind a sticky bar. An automated scan finds the first layer. A person finds the rest.
Product data and Merchant Center
Identifiers (GTIN, MPN, brand), and price and availability as your page, its structured data and your feed each state them. Images against Google's 500 × 500 pixel minimum. With read-only access to Merchant Center, every disapproved item and the reason Google gives.
Store policies
Returns, refunds, shipping, contact details and terms: each one present, reachable from every page, and saying the same thing in your footer, your policy pages, your product pages and your Merchant Center settings.
Why it matters now
-
Plaintiffs filed 3,117 website accessibility lawsuits in federal court in 2025, 27% more than the 2,452 filed in 2024.
-
In April 2025 the FTC finalized an order requiring an accessibility-widget maker to pay $1 million over claims that its AI tool could make any website meet WCAG.
-
From January 31, 2027, Google Merchant Center requires product images of at least 500 × 500 pixels, in every product category.

A sample report
Illustrative: a made-up store, checked the way we check yours.
Every finding is counted with its denominator, carries its evidence, and is ranked by what it costs you. What we could not read is listed as unknown, never as a pass. The first three of eleven:
- 1. The cart's quantity buttons have no names.
6 of 6 buttons are read only as "button" by VoiceOver and NVDA, so a screen-reader user cannot tell which one removes an item. The fix is one snippet in the theme.
- 2. The size and color swatches can't be reached by keyboard.
Tab moves from the product title straight to Add to cart, skipping all 9 swatches. Rebuilt as a radio group, they work for everyone.
- 3. 31 products are disapproved for a missing GTIN.
The GTINs come from the supplier's sheet, each check digit verified, and none invented.

What it isn't
- Legal advice. We report what we found against WCAG 2.2 AA. What it means for you legally is a lawyer's call.
- A widget. We add no overlay and no script to your store.
- An automated scan alone.A scan finds the first layer. A person with a keyboard and a screen reader finds the rest.
Questions
- Does the $2,500 count toward the Sprint?
- Yes, in full, when the Sprint starts within 30 days of the report.
- Do you need my Shopify login?
- Not for the check. We read your store the way shoppers and Google do, and Merchant Center through read-only access. For a Sprint, you add us as a collaborator and remove us when it is done.
- We already use an accessibility widget. Should we keep it?
- We test your store the way shoppers meet it, widget and all, and report what it does and does not fix. The decision stays yours.
- Can anyone promise a store won't be sued?
- No. We test against WCAG 2.2 AA, fix what we find and prove it with a re-test. Information, not legal advice.
- What if you find nothing?
- You still get the report: what we checked, how we checked it, and anything we could not read.
- How long does it take?
- One week from the day you send your store URL.
